Last August 8 and 9, Picklers Park was more than just a pickleball venue—it became a hub for joy, community, and meaningful giving. Here's a look back at our Community Open House Block Party and the Sotheby’s Charity Event, two unforgettable days that brought people together for all the right reasons.

🏡 August 8 – Community Open House Block Party

It was all about fun, food, and family as we opened our gates wide for the community. New faces and familiar ones joined us for a day packed with:

• Kids' games, a jumping castle, and soft play zones
• A cheerful community hangout with free snacks
• A lively pickleball social where everyone could join in
• And a cozy Pizza Movie Night under the stars, complete with blankets, laughter, and great company

We saw families laughing, new players giving it a go, and kids picking up paddles for the very first time. The goal? Build connections, not just on the court—but across the community. And judging by the cheers and conversations, we did just that.

💎 August 9 – Sotheby’s Charity Event

The next day, Picklers Park took on a different kind of elegance. We proudly partnered with Lew Geffen Sotheby’s International Realty for a charity event aimed at giving back in style.

• A charity-friendly pickleball tournament
• Guest appearances from local business leaders and Sotheby’s partners
• Fundraise and donate to the SPCA by bringing dog and cat food, blankets, and toys—small acts that made a big difference for animals and people in need
• Refreshments, networking, and plenty of feel-good competition

It was an evening where passion met purpose, and where property pros and pickleballers rallied side by side to raise funds for causes that matter. The Sotheby’s team brought their signature class, and the community showed up with heart.

Back-to-back events, one powerful message: Picklers Park is where community thrives. Whether you're smashing a serve or simply sharing a story over snacks, we’re here to be more than a venue—we’re a space where purpose and play meet.
